I make - Nutella Brownies

So good and addictive. "How to go through a jar of nutella in a week", that was the title better depicting the reality. You've been warned!

Nutella Brownies

1 jar of Nutella (370-400 g), microwave for 15-30 seconds until runny
2 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa powder (Note 1)
sea salt flakes

Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line a 20x20cm tin or loaf tin (Note 2).

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Nutella and eggs until smooth and combined.

Add the cocoa powder and a pinch of salt, and fold in until combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan, and scatter some sea salt flakes on top (if desired). Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the brownie is no longer jiggly. The typical toothpick test may not work here. You can try to insert at one of the corners and check (almost clean with a few moist crumbs).

Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares. I like to refrigerate the brownies to have a more chewy texture.

Note 1: you can use 1/2 cup flour instead.

Note 2: 20x20cm tin gives a brownies of thickness of 1cm. If you prefer thicker brownies, use a loaf tin (or a smaller tin) instead.
